Administration

The network is directed by the PI (Principal Investigator) and managed by the steering committee, consisting of the core members and two drawn from participants including one from industry. The steering committee meet twice a year during workshops to discuss the long-term strategy of the network and preparation of workshops, to monitor the overall progress, to approve distribution of funds and future activities and to seek funding for sustainability of the network. The advisory members will be invited to attend the steering committee meetings and they will be consulted. The committee will also have online meetings to discuss organizational matters. Each core member is responsible for organising and chairing the workshop at his university, with the support from other core members and the network administrator.

A network administrator is appointed to carry out the administrative tasks of the network, such as the organization of meetings/workshops, maintenance of the web server and email lists, management of finances, the preparation of reports, the recording of the proceedings of meetings and assisting in preparation of reports etc
